Handspun Honeys: Sarah + Brad

I know we say this every single time, but man we just love our Handspun Honeys! At the end of September, Sarah and Brad tied the knot in the most beautiful ceremony at Meadowbrook Country Club. Rain was imminent the entire day, but it was clear nothing was going to stop the smiles on either of their faces. As the rain plan took over, the ceremony space was transformed by votive candles and flower petals everywhere you looked, and it created an intimate, romantic setting for these two lovebirds to say, “I do.”
It was an honor to watch as Sarah doted on her maids, especially her little flower girls, and we had a ball watching sweet Campbell step into Sarah’s Betsey Johnson pumps and get a glimpse of the glamour she will experience herself someday. Brad and his lads were having too much fun (did I see the entire party take shots pre-ceremony??), but wow, how he lit up when he saw Sarah at the end of that aisle. These two make the most beautiful couple, and share so much joy with each other, that it wasn’t at all difficult to witness them promising forever!

We had two favorite parts of the day: one was sneaking them outside, because despite the sprinkles, they were patient and positive, and definitely up for some under-the-umbrella smooching. The second presented itself as Brad and Sarah took to the floor for their first dance. Watching them dance around laughing and singing to each other, our hearts swelled and about popped. It was clear that these two were joined in a union no one could ever break, and they were so happy just to be there in that moment with each other. It was a happy tears moment, for sure. :’)
As always, working with Amy Robinson Photography was a dream – we love our Southern sweetheart and mom of three, and we can guarantee it’s going to be fun wedding captured beautifully when she and Allison are our photog counterparts!! It was also a delight to catch up with Erica and Bryan, a previous pair of Handspun Honeys, who at the time were expecting, and have since welcomed their first baby into the world! There were so many friends involved in this beautiful wedding, and so much joy that we couldn’t stop smiling. We know you won’t be able to either, as you watch through the highlights of their day!!
